HIS DREAM FAMILY

Handsome Milton adapts easily to new situations (new environments, new people, etc.). He enjoys being around children and loves being petted—his favorite spot is his chest, which instantly calms him.

His favorite games include tag, playing frisbee, and fetching balls. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys car rides. However, for his safety, he needs to be secured, as he tends to wander. He already knows many commands. Some areas to work on include leash walking, as he currently pulls quite a bit, and he may gently nibble when he is seeking attention.

Like all Huskies, Milton needs plenty of mental stimulation through games and, of course, lots of physical exercise to burn his energy.

Milton is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He will do anything to please his human—truly a four-legged sweetheart.

SPECIAL CARE

-Librela: $97.98 + tax per month (recommended when Milton shows signs of pain)

-Cartrophen: Can be started preventively as soon as possible $50 per injection (Option to purchase a $200 vial (lasts about 3 months), which is more cost-effective at the beginning of treatment (4 doses required in the first month, then 1 dose per month)

-Recommended diets: Hill’s j/d Joint Care, Hill’s Metabolic + Mobility (helps maintain a healthy weight while supporting joints), Royal Canin Joint Care

Please note: once medications are started, they are effective for about one month per dose. To maintain their benefits, they must be administered for life.
