A unique little heart looking for the right family

This special little dog is searching for an equally special family. Deaf from birth, he experiences the world differently and needs humans who are ready to communicate with him through patience, consistency, and gentleness.

Yuki has a personality all his own: because he cannot hear how loud his barks are, he tends to bark quite a lot to express himself. Since he is still a puppy, he can sometimes invade other dogs’ space and doesn’t always understand their signals, especially growling. Some training will be needed, as he does show some resource guarding behaviors with other dogs (less so with humans), which requires attentive management. Living with another dog is possible, but only with a very patient, stable companion and under supervision to avoid conflicts.

House training is still a work in progress, both indoors and outdoors. Because of his disability, outings can sometimes be stressful for him, especially when things suddenly appear around him (cars, people, other animals). Despite this, he loves being outside and may try to slip out the door when it opens.

Even with these challenges, Yuki has so much love to give. With a structured environment, visual cues, and a reassuring routine, he will continue to progress and build an incredibly strong bond with his human, as he is very affectionate. Yuki will need an experienced family, ideally without young children, and a calm, secure home. His forever family must be patient, consistent, and above all, loving.

There are many positive training methods adapted for deaf dogs that can greatly help him thrive. With the right guidance, Yuki will become a deeply loving and truly unique companion.
