If you’re reading this blog, it probably means you want to support us by raising money for our cause. If that’s the case, we’d like to start by thanking you for wanting to get involved! Through our charitable status, Facebook now allows our subscribers to collect donations, which will be paid directly to us. We’ve decided to create this short guide to help you create an attention-grabbing campaign.

Explain the mission of our organization in a few sentences. You can copy and paste the following text:

Would you like to support a good cause? I’m raising money for The Aristopaws (https://aristopattes.ca/en/) and your contribution will have a real impact, whether you give a little or a lot. Any donation is welcome. Thank you for your support. I have included information about The Aristopaws below.Their motto: “There’s no price for a life”
Les Aristopattes / The Aristopaws specializes in the rescue of abandoned or stray cats and dogs that require emergency medical care. These animals receive specialist care when necessary, stay in foster families, and are then put up for adoption to find them a forever home.Facebook covers all processing fees so that 100% of your donation goes directly to the non-profit organization.

Set your goal:
First choose an amount to reach (average: $250) and pick a deadline (2 weeks is recommended).

And that’s it! Thank you so much for following these steps to raise money for us.Start the ball rolling if necessary
If you want to, making the first donation will usually encourage others to give. So this is recommended when the campaign is not taking off.

Share your fundraiser
Spread the word! You can do this on your personal profile, in Facebook groups, on your other social networks, and by email.

Tell others about it
By talking to people around you (friends, family, colleagues, etc.) you are much more likely to reach people and receive donations from them.

We hope that these tips will be beneficial to you and that your fundraiser will be a success. Don’t be disappointed if your fundraiser doesn’t reach its goal. Remember, it’s the thought that counts!  For us, your investment already means a lot. Thank you again for your support!
